Do you sell my data?
No. Bearz Solutions does not sell data and does not share it for targeted advertising.
When I check a link, who sees it?
The link and page are sent to SiteRep’s scoring engine and to AI and threat-intelligence providers that help evaluate it. They receive only the content being checked - not your name, account, or which family member submitted it.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Users can delete their account in the app. For scan-history deletion or privacy requests, use the support channels listed in the Privacy Policy.
Do you read my email, texts, or watch my screen?
No. SiteRep does not access emails, text-message content, calls, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. If automatic scanning is enabled in the extension, SiteRep receives the URLs of pages visited solely to check them.
Privacy Data
What information does SiteRep collect
SiteRep collects the essentials needed to run your account, the links you submit for analysis, and basic technical data like device type and IP address for security and rate limiting. Full details belong in the published Privacy Policy.
Is SiteRep the same as antivirus?
No. Antivirus is built to block known-bad files and threats on a device. SiteRep answers a different question: is this website or link safe to trust right now? It is especially useful for phishing links, scam websites, fake login pages, and suspicious online stores
How accurate are SiteRep Ratings?
SiteRep uses live threat-intelligence sources and AI-assisted analysis to reach a rating. But ratings are time-stamped, evidence-based opinions - not guarantees. New scams appear constantly. SiteRep improves your odds; it does not replace judgment.
How do I check if a website is safe?
Paste the URL into SiteRep, share the link from your phone, scan a QR code, or use the browser extension. SiteRep checks the site and gives you a plain-language rating - Safe, Suspicious, Risky, or Restricted - with the reasons behind it.
SiteRep Basics
What if SiteRep says a site is safe but it's not?
No tool is perfect. SiteRep is built to look for risk signals connected to phishing links, fake login pages, scam websites, low-trust stores, malware warnings, and suspicious URLs.
Treat “Safe” as no meaningful risk signals found right now, not “guaranteed safe forever” – with the reverse being true for “Suspicious” or “Risky” sites. Users can re-check the link later because results may change over time.
Can I just paste a link into a free AI?
You can, if you already suspect something and remember to ask. SiteRep is built for the moment you may not. It works from your phone, browser, QR codes, WhatsApp, and the web app; gives a consistent graded rating; and with Family Plus, can loop in a trusted person when a link comes back risky.
Does SiteRep stop every scam?
No. SiteRep checks links and websites. It does not read text-message content, listen to calls, watch your screen, or guarantee that every scam will be caught. A scam with no link is outside what SiteRep does.
Do I need the mobile app or extension to use SiteRep?
No. Anyone can check links for free through the web app - start with a few checks, no account needed. The iOS app and browser extension add automatic, always-on checking and are part of paid plans (Individual and up).
What does Family Plus actually do?
When a Plan Member checks a link that comes back Risky or Restricted, the Plan Owner gets a private, real-time alert - enough to reach out and help. Lower-severity Suspicious results are summarized once a day. Safe results are never sent.
How does it work for kids?
Minors at or above the minimum age are covered while they are minors and cannot opt out. The Plan Owner is responsible for any authority the law requires. When a minor turns 18, alerts pause until they choose to opt back in.
How are alerts delivered?
By push notification and email. SiteRep does not send safety alerts by SMS.
Is this a spyware?
No. The Plan Owner does not see the browsing history or full scan history of the Plan Member. They only see flagged checks, and only as much detail as the risk requires. For full transparency, the Plan Members also receives a notification that shows exactly what was shared with the Plan Owner.
Family Plus
Do adults have to consent?
Yes. Adults 18 and older opt in or opt out anytime in Settings. Every Plan Member is told the feature is part of the plan when they join.
Can I use Family Plus to help an aging parent?
Yes. That is one of the main use cases. Adult family members can choose to let someone they trust get a heads-up when a risky link appears.
How much does SiteRep cost?
Free to start. Individual is $6.99/mo. Family is $4.99/user/mo with a 3-user minimum. Family Plus is $9.99/user/mo with a 3-user minimum, plus a one-time $39 setup fee.
Do you offer refunds?
No. We offer a free 14-day trial and a free account so you can test SiteRep before making a low, monthly commitment. Users can cancel or delete their account anytime
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Individual, Family, and Family Plus all start with a 14-day free trial.
Pricing & Billing
Why is pricing per user?
Because you pay for who you actually protect. A three-person household and a six-person household should not have to use the same flat price.
How is payment handled?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Bearz Solutions does not receive, store, or transmit your card number.
